The St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Gomardih, witnessed a momentous occasion on 23rd January 2025, as Deacon Rohit Dhanwar was ordained to the sacred priesthood. The ordination ceremony, which commenced at 8:00 AM, was conferred by *His Excellency Most Rev. Kishor Kumar Kujur,* Bishop of Rourkela. The solemn celebration was marked by deep spiritual significance, rich liturgical traditions, and an outpouring of divine blessings.

The following day, on 24th January 2025, Fr. Rohit Dhanwar celebrated his First Holy Mass at 8:30 AM at Gomardih, Bangla Toli. This joyous occasion was further graced by the presence of Fr. Bijoy Kulirajiyil, Provincial Superior of St. Camillus Province, along with Camillian fathers, brothers, and sisters. Their presence added to the solemnity and festivity of the event, making it a memorable and blessed celebration for the faithful gathered.

The ordination and first Mass were moments of grace and thanksgiving, as the community rejoiced in welcoming a new shepherd into the Lord’s vineyard. May God continue to guide and bless Fr. Rohit Dhanwar in his priestly ministry.
