St. Camillus College Janampett, Eluru

Camillian mission took its root in Eluru in July, 1989 with the intention of promoting vocations from Andhra Pradesh at the invitation of the Bishop of Eluru.   In May 1996, Camillians took over the responsibility of running the leprosy rehabilitation centre from the Heralds of Good News and marked a beginning of healing ministry in Eluru. In December 2004 a new ministry was launched to provide care for the PLHA. “Sneha Kiran”(Ray of love) is a community based care and support program for the  children of HIV and their parents in the neighbouring villages of Janampet where our Seminary is located.
